Is murder justified? (Off topic posts moved from other threads)

You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs.
Or as Stalin said, you can't make a dictatorship without murdering 20 million people.

What's your omelette that you want to make? Fear and hatred of police?

If you can get them safely restrained without them kicking off/refusing to comply/putting the officer or others at risk of injury or death, yes.

Police officers are issued with handcuffs.

I think you mean that a restrained person does not need to be killed. Is that what you mean?

And do all these violent thugs just hold their hands out and say something like "It's a fair cop guvnor"? They don’t try to beat them up, stab, produce a gun from between their butt cheeks and shoot them or drag them along behind a stolen quad bike until they have no face left on them and die for example?

Afaik them two scum bags that dragged that police man down the road were found not guilty of murder ??

Took you longer.
I am not the 1 who has been flip flopping over what he believes in.

My opinion has not changed. I have no problem with any power taken by police, under legal authority. I do have a problem when that power is used without legal authority.

Is that what you agree with, or not?

Let me make my point clear.

Overpowering and restraining, by any means necessary is ok. Killing anybody once they have been restrained is not. At that point it is down to a court and a jury.

Feel free to make your point clear if that is not what you agree with.

Some of them are handcuffed, lying flat, held down, gasping "I can't breathe"

Until they die.

And some of them produce a gun from between their arse cheeks in the custody suite and shoot a policeman doing his job and kill him.

Personally, I have more sympathy for the policeman paid to protect us than a career criminal. Don't you?

The 2 animals who killed lee rigby...
Should've been executed there and then.
Same for the other animal who killed jo cox.
And everyone else who kills/attacks people and there's no mistake about what they've done (i.e. done in public)
Hard to disagree with that.

I would add that guy who killed David Amess

Please show me how George Floyd could’ve done that.

How do you think Derek Chauvin protected George Floyd?

How do you think Derek Chauvin protected the people who had previously complained about him using excess force?

Note:
1) George Floyd wasn’t a career criminal for the last 7 years.

2) the policeman had multiple previous complaints for excess force, he is a violent man.

The policeman I’m referring to is Matt Ratana you plum. If Louis de Zoysa had been held down with a knee on his neck when he was arrested, Matt Ratana would still be alive. I couldn’t care less about the welfare of a criminal with a concealed weapon. Could you?

Do yourself a favourer and look up police officers that have been killed doing their job (on both sides of the Atlantic) and see if you can work out why they are extra cautious when making an arrest.
