Nigel did well..

The Tory party is in disarray because what they pomised they could never deliver. It was lies, lies and lies.

Rwanda policy not even been mentioned. It's the medacious lying.

Until we hold any party to account and not my party. my party come what may we are going to get nowhere.

The big tough questions are either not being asked by the media or when they are they are being lied to or simply ignored.

Imagine you are buying a car and the prospective seller is being evasive with his answers - you would rightly walk away but somehow in politics this is a winning strategy.

They're keeping schtum about the 'sunlit uplands' of our glorious future after Bre*it, too.

This sort of comes back to my previous point in various political threads.

If we could see a chart showing all the manifesto pledges from decades past and to what extent they were delivered by the winning party once in power, I think it would make for very interesting reading.

The same holds true once a party is in power re any promises they make during their time in government.

It can be argued they all spout lie after lie after lie because much of what they promise is never fully delivered if at all.

I reckon the whole political system in the UK needs significant change, however I'm not sure to what!

Strange that. And reform too.

It should be a major point of the proof of their achievenents
'Achievents'? No wonder they're keeping quiet...and another sign of their anxiety about this election is Cruella Braverman suggesting a merger with Reform should be considered by the Tories. Sunak must've spat out his cornflakes this morning.

Don’t care either way about what’s happening in the EU. We're out of it, remember?
PMSL...

Why do you keep posting about the EU when you believe it is a failure if you don't care?

If there was a need, I would.
Obviously not. Is anybody 'happy' that their kids or grandkids have to go to war?
Ah, so you'd fight but you wouldn't want you descendants to do so...

The problem you have is that you appear not to understand that the views you air (along with others) have made the latter case ever more a realistic possibility!

What’s any of this to do with your fixation on Brexit anyway?
Number one is that it has screwed the UK socially, financially, and it's world standing.
You've been asked repeatedly to tell us of any benefits and yet refuse to do so...

Secondly it has been a catalyst for the recent unrest in Europe, and the rise of the right has been emboldened - but then that was what the dodgy money intended!

People easily forget the 1930's, because it was so long ago...

But facism was started democratically...

What do you make of the apparent Farage, Rees Mogg and Braverman link up?

Ah, so you'd fight but you wouldn't want you descendants to do so...
My descendants fought for me AND you 80 years ago. Would you rather they hadn't?

Cobblers. The unrest in Europe is because they are all getting pyssed off with immigrants flooding in and nobody is doing sod all about it apart from people like you who are welcoming them with open arms. There’s going to be one hell of a backlash one of these days. You best leave this country while you still can. Oops, I forgot, that racist utopia you claimed you were scarpering to wouldn’t have you. They must have enough care home staff already.

Mot's Time Machine has undergone a temporary temporal malfunction, methinx.

Popularism pushes people that way. When they do get power they find they can't do much about it even that some are needed. Over simplification - it always figures.

For peace and harmony in uk, not division.

You do know what Winston wanted at the end of the war?

Any sign of our Government doing any better than anywhere else in eu, or the world? Its not just an EU issue, but it was sold to us at brexit would cure it. You do agree its got worse, not better? So brexit wasn't the answer!

The US see the EU as a problem. A federal EU would frighten them to death if as unlikely as it is it actually happened.
Why - they keep sending stuff there that sells competing with their own. Worse still if you take VW as an example they build a huge plant in Mexico not the US. LOL Some US manufacture is into the same thing,

The country that threw the trade balance into the bin big time. We did too. Globalisation. Sure there are "good" reasons but look at the results. The EU manages to hold on to it overall and has their levelling up techniques and LOL it's problems. It's often difficult to know what problem to hit and how. There are always some around that will always tell you that this aspect is easy what ever the problem is.

Or, that the governments are doing just like our shower are - kicking cans down the road on basically everything - and, to divert attention away from their failure, are blaming it all on "immigrants".

Works every time, so why would they stop doing it? ;-)

Don't be silly from the article if you had been bothered to read it. Fron the Berlin correspondent of the BBC no less.

a small section

This has rattled many voters, alienated some core supporters and creating rifts within each party. A huge surge in migration has also put strain on the resources of local councils.

The small section:

"But Russia’s full invasion meant all three parties had to throw old convictions over board, breaking economic and energy ties with Russia and renouncing former pacifist feelings.

This has rattled many voters, alienated some core supporters and creating rifts within each party. A huge surge in migration has also put strain on the resources of local councils."

Troll.
